About me

Hello! I’m Leah Wolf

Personal and relational wellness are values in my heart and practice. I love helping partners improve their relationship with each other, and I love helping individuals improve their relationship with themselves and find a clearer and more confident path forward.

Prior to my career as a marriage and family therapist, coach, and mentor, I was a heavy metal musician. Later, I realized it helped me channel anger, harness creativity, and build a sense of personal power.

My path to becoming a coach and mentor came after I began a regular meditation practice, and, my venture into the academic world of psychotherapy came after I spent years cultivating personal spiritual practices and developing the confidence to trust my gut.

Through a decade of academic studies and many years of practice in psychotherapy and marital and family therapy, I learned and discovered interventions to help people address the root of their problems, which I consider one of the gatekeepers to personal and relational fulfillment, purpose, and meaning.

Through my coaching and mentoring vocation I discovered ways to reduce the noise of the outside world; to ignore the cultural and societal messages enough to make informed decisions closer to my values, and take the necessary risks to make the choices that reflected those values.

Through my spiritual and philosophical practices and studies, I found ways to reduce the noise of my mind to a place with more calm, confidence, and clarity. This helped me shed habits of negativity, move more past my ego, and surround myself with people that reflected my values and who I wanted to be in the world.

The depth and diversity of my life experience led me to help others have the kinds of experiences they want in life, and in their relationships with others and themselves. Helping others find personal and relational wellness, and more fulfillment, purpose, and meaning is where I found this.

As a therapist, I have a unique, diverse, and well-rounded educational and training background that is grounded in family systems, marital and family therapy, evidence-based interventions, and trauma-informed care, in addition to mindfulness, somatic, humanistic, and transpersonal integration approaches.

As a coach, I have decades of experience as a certified life coach. I am trained from a spiritual Inspired Fulfillment coaching model. As a mentor, I have spent decades of my life cultivating my own spiritual practices and studies, along with a unique and diverse background of life experience, education, and learning.

I received my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Contemplative Psychology with concentrations in Humanistic & Transpersonal and Somatic Psychology from Naropa University, the first fully accredited Buddhist inspired university.

I received my Certified Life Coach (CLC) credential from an International Coach Federation (IFC) Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP), Coach for Life. I also received my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from IFC, which I relinquished.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Premarital Counselor, and an IFS, IFIO and EMDR Therapist. In addition, I am a Certified Life Coach, and a Mentor.

In my other half of life I was a heavy metal guitarist/singer/songwriter and band leader. My bands recorded albums and toured the U.S.

I am happily married, with one fur-child Aussie. In my spare time I like to spend time with my husband and dog doing adventure travel, playing in the mountains, forests, rivers, snow, and ocean - as well as a whole bunch of self-care, such as reading, writing, meditating, and contemplating. I also like working on new projects, and deepening my knowledge and practice in all things related to psychology, relationships, well-being, and spirituality.
